Well it isn't too bad until later. They use a topical agent first then inject some lidocain in the first layer of your eyeball. Then they go in with the harpoon....get to do it all over again next month

These two ornaments have not been on the tree yet. I bought theses in remembrance of Emma last fall. It was just too sad. Part of the proceeds when to the love of labs rescue group.  This year they have a special spot among the countless bear ornaments.

While we ran out for a while tonight Grace decided to chew up an unopened box of lights. Good thing she did not touch the tree. I guess she will be in the kennel when no one is home for the season.

So I buy some frozen green beans at BJs. Look at the package and they are imported from France. I guess we don't gow them here anymore. 4lbs for 5 bucks and change. How much did it cost to ship over here?

So after getting up at 3am eastern and flight changes. I get to maui alone only to find that the road to my condo is closed due to a 4 acre brush fire. So what to do? Buy some sushi and hit the beach...horrible

One year ago today we lost out Emma. She is missed so much. This is what she would be doing on a hot day like today. Could never get her out of the pool.

This was a great day! Grace was able to play fetch today. She has a little limp but just watch her go! Can't wait to show the girls at therapy. It has been a long road since March 17th. We only had them out for a short while this am before it got up into the 90's.

Happy 4th of July!!!

Wow where is the time going?
So far this had been a great weekend weather wise.  Warm sunny. Chris is having a harder time with not being able to eat or drink.  It seems that all the antibiotics for the last 6 weeks and the stress of surgery has caused some thrush on his tongue.   Yesterday About 5 am he started  bleeding.  Coughed up nice nice sized blood clots. Even plugged the since.
Luckily packing his neck in Ice and gargling with ice water stopped it just in time that we did not have to go to the ED.
Grace was granted a little more freedom after her vet visit on Sat.  She does not have to be locked up all the time anymore.  She can start going for walks!!!!.  We just need to avoid jumping up on things like furniture for a while longer.  She has a pretty good limp, but I think it hurts me more than her. She is still just  toe touching but at least that is more frequent now.

The tour manager who used my camera to take the picture had some shaky hands!!!! The lighting was poor and the colors horrible for a background for a picture. Have to take try and take some of the distortion out of the pics. Still better than nothing!!!!!
